Senior guard Kayla Potter was the determining factor in two post season wins for the Twinfield Lady Trojans.
On February 16, 2010 vs Danville, Kayla lead all scorers with 16 points, she had 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
On February 19, 2010 vs Williamstown in a quarter final game, Kayla once again lead all scorers with 21 points she also had 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals. This lead the way to avenge two regular season losses.

Most importantly her defensive intensity and leadership set the tone for both games. Her determination and leadership qualities inspire all those around her. This inspirational leadership has led the way for a trip to the Barre Auditorium for the Lady Trojans. Kayla is also a student on high honor roll.


Emmitt Simpson, Senior guard had 24 pts against Winooski and reached the 1000 point plateau on Wednesday night and had 14 points in a win over Danville on Friday night.


Jimmy Lau of Lyndon Institute in the past week scored 35 points added 11 rebs in a loss to Montpelier, 27 points and 8 rebs in a win vs. Lamoille, 30 points and 14 rebs in a win vs. Randolph and finished the week with 44points, 7rebs and 4assts in a loss at Thetford.


Connor Merrill, a senior at Vergennes Union High School ended the regular season
with an 18 point, 15 rebound, 4 block, 4 assist, and 3 steal game
against Mississquoi, leading the Commodores to a 60-49 victory over the Thunderbirds.
Devon Spirka, a senior from Twin Valley High School, led the Wildcats to a 3-0 week with victories over MSJ, Poultney and Green Mountain. She averaged 17 ppg; 6.1 rpg; 6.0 apg and 5.3 spg. In addition,
she scored her 1,000th point vs Poultney to become the third player in TVHS history to reach the milestone.

Madison Fuller, Rochester High School:
Averaged 20.5 points and 11 rebounds in two games last week (24 against Rivendell, 17 against Mid Vt)


Patrick Rainville, a senior, guard from Danville had 18 points in a loss to Hazen,
followed by 16 points in a win over Stowe.


Tony Burrington, a sophomore, forward from Danville had 16 points and 15 rebounds in a loss to Hazen,
followed by 13 points against Stowe.


Scott Hayford, a senior, guard from Twin Valley scored his 1,000th career point against Green Mountain.

Patrick Rainville (senior point guard for Danville) - Matt Chamberlin (junior forward for Danville)
In 2 wins against division 3 opponents - Enosburg and BFA Fairfax.
+Rainville Averaged 18 points and 7 assists. Against BFA Fairfax, after trailing by 15 at halftime,
Patrick played a pivotal role and showed great leadership in the come from behind win.
+ Chamberlin averaged 20.5 points and 5.5 rebounds Against BFA Fairfax, Matt came up huge in the offensive end
by scoring all of his 18 points in the second half to complete the come from behind victory.
Matt also went 4-5 from the line down the stretch in the 4th quarter.


In a 2 - 0 week with wins over Leland & Gray and Poultney.
+Scott Hayford, a senior, guard from Twin Valley
averaged 27ppg, 10.5rpg, 9apg, 3bpg, 2spg and shot 62% from 3 point range.
+Troy Birch, a junior, forward from Twin Valley averaged 27 ppg, 21rpg, 3spg and 2bpg

Williamstown Senior Kristin Brown led the team to three straight victories in four days,
Jan 2, she had 16 pts, 5 assists in a win over Woodsville,
Jan 3, she had 15 pts, 10 assists, 8 rebounds in a win over Mascoma to win the Holiday tournament at Woodsville,
and on Jan 5th, she produced 7 assists, 9 rebounds, and only 3 turnovers to hand Twinfield their first loss of the season.


Patrick Rainville & Matt Chamberlain of Danville
combined for 47 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in a 78 - 56 win over Blue Mountain.


Scott Hayford, a senior, guard from Twin Valley
averaged 24.5 points, 8 steals, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 blocks
